Data Driven Design Symposium

A symposium on Data Driven Design (D3) spearheaded by Professor Peter Chung, focused on improving the design of complex engineered systems through big data.

Computation Enabled Materials Discovery Symposium

Organized by Dr. Mark Fuge, a one-day forum on the challenges of developing and transitioning science and engineering software and codes from inception to adoption.

Autonomy Symposium

A one day symposium attended by representatives from industry, government laboratories, and Clark School of Engineering faculty.

International Detonation Symposium (IDS)

Held every four years with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head, DoD, and DoE. The 15th IDS gathered 300+ attendees at the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco.

National Capital Region Energetics Symposium

Held biennially for researchers, developers, engineers, scientists, and program managers in DC, Maryland, and Virginia to exchange information on energetics technology.

ESC Symposium

A full day of discussions on engineering, unintended consequences, public policy and societal impact, with attendees from IIT Delhi, Toronto, Khalifa, Baylor, USD, DoD, Covanta, and the University of Maryland.
